Abstract
Anxiety disorders are prevalent among students, significantly impacting their academic performance and overall well-being. This study explores the crucial role of school counselors in providing support and intervention for students experiencing anxiety. By examining counselor practices, student perspectives, and research evidence, the paper investigates effective strategies for identifying, assessing, and addressing anxiety concerns. The findings highlight the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive school environment, developing strong therapeutic relationships with students, and implementing evidence-based interventions to help students manage anxiety symptoms and develop coping mechanisms.
